WWE Set to Feature More Brand Crossovers

WWE has undergone quite a few changes under Triple H as the company has clearly shown quite a lot of growth over the years. With his rule, a lot of old rules prevalent in WWE have been abolished but it appears one rule might just come back for a while.

Five years ago, Vince McMahon and WWE made a controversial move by lifting the rules of brand exclusivity temporarily with the “Wild Card Rule.” This decision was not well-received and diluted the brand split, frustrating many fans who felt the split was being undermined after just three years. Eventually, the decision to maintain brand exclusivity was reinforced when SmackDown moved to FOX and the Draft took place.

JoeyVotes and TC hinted that brand crossovers will continue even after Crown Jewel and are expected to last until Survivor Series: WarGames. On WrestleVotes Radio’s Backstage Pass, they noted that there would be many brand interactions in the lead-up to the event. This crossover has already started, with Cody Rhodes, Tiffany Stratton, and Nia Jax appearing on RAW, while Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez have shown up on SmackDown.

JoeyVotes and TC suggested that brand crossovers will keep happening after Crown Jewel and are likely to continue until Survivor Series: WarGames, thus brining back the ”Wild Card Rule” again for a while.

We will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to book the brand crossovers between RAW and SmackDown in the coming weeks, as it’s certainly a great time to be a WWE fan.
