WWE SmackDown‘s preliminary viewership slightly decreased on February 2.

According to Programming Insider, 2.314 million viewers watched the show on Friday night, and it drew a 0.66 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The preliminary viewership is slightly down from last week’s episode, when 2.329 million viewers tuned in. The demo rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.64 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week’s show kicked off with WWE United States Champion Logan Paul. He was interrupted by Kevin Owens, which led to a match that saw Owens defeat Austin Theory with Paul on commentary.

The breakup of Bayley and Damage CTRL is official as Bayley revealed that she knows the group has been talking behind her back and she will challenge IYO SKY at WrestleMania 40.

Tiffany Stratton also made her SmackDown in-ring debut with a victory over Mia Yim.

The close of the show witnessed Cody Rhodes step aside for The Rock to allow him to be the one to challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40.
