WWE SmackDown‘s preliminary viewership increased on March 8.
According to Jed I. Goodman, 2.368 million viewers watched the show on Friday night, and it drew a 0.64 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The preliminary viewership is up from last week’s episode, when 2.23 million viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.60 rating in the same demographic.

This week’s show kicked off with United States Champion Logan Paul who announced his energy drink PRIME would be a mat sponsor of all future WWE Premium Live Events. Paul brought out KSI and Randy Orton showed up and RKO’d KSI as Paul ran away.
Orton would go on to win a tag team match with Kevin Owens against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.
Tiffany Stratton was also in action and picked up a win over “Michin” Mia Yim.
The close of the show witnessed Cody Rhodes slap The Rock across the face after Seth Rollins accepted the challenge for a tag match at WrestleMania 40.
