Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s results for "WWE SmackDown" on January 12, 2024, coming to you live from the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska!

The issues between Damage CTRL and Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Shotzi, and Zelina Vega have remained no secret over the last few months, with all nine women coming face-to-face with one another in numerous of verbal exchanges and matches. Tonight, two of said competitors are set to collide in a singles match as Bayley goes one-on-one with Belair following a backstage confrontation last week.

Speaking of last week, AJ Styles, Randy Orton and LA Knight squared off in a Triple Threat Number One Contenders match to determine who would face Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble. However, the match ended in a no contest after Reigns interfered. Nick Aldis subsequently announced that he would be defending his title against all three men, and in light of such, Styles, Orton, and Knight will all be appearing on tonight's show.

Although he and his ally Austin Theory have had a number of issues with Kevin Owens over the course of the past few weeks, Grayson Waller will have to temporarily refocus his sights as he goes head-to-head with a returning Cameron Grimes. Grimes' last televised match came on the November 28 episode of "WWE NXT", in which he came up short to Wes Lee in a Fatal Four-Way Number One Contenders match for the North American Championship.

During the December 22 episode of "SmackDown", Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo aligned themselves with Santos Escobar, helping him win a semi-finals match in the United States Championship Tournament. Given that Escobar had previously betrayed LWO, the group took immediate notice of Angel and Humberto. Tonight, Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde have the chance to seek retribution as they collide with Angel and Humberto.

Additionally, The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and Women's Champion IYO SKY are all advertised to appear, per WWE's event page.

We are live! Corey Graves and Kevin Patrick greet audiences at home as Grayson Waller and Austin Theory make their way down to the ring. Cameron Grimes follows, but he is blindsided by Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso.

The Bloodline Confronts Nick Aldis

Aldis and The Bloodline in the ring

WWE/Fox

Nick Aldis and other officials run down to check on Grimes as Waller and Theory retreat up the ramp. Paul Heyman (already in the ring) grabs a mic and says The Bloodline aren't the bad guys. He says Aldis is the real bad guy for making Roman Reigns defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a Fatal Four-Way match at the Royal Rumble as Aldis makes his way down to the ring.

Aldis grabs the mic from Heyman and says that this is not a conversation between two equals. He says the Fatal Four-Way match is a done deal, and The Bloodline will not ruin yet another match. He then announces that Jimmy, Sikoa, and Reigns will be in the main event of tonight's show, and they will be facing AJ Styles, Randy Orton and LA Knight. Heyman tells Aldis that they both know Reigns isn't in Lincoln, and while Aldis admits that Heyman is correct, The Bloodline has until the main event to find a third man unless they want it to be a 2-On-3 Handicap match.

Los Lotharios and Santos Escobar then make their way out to the ring, with the latter man joining the announce desk.

Back from the break, we head backstage and see Heyman assuring Sikoa and Jimmy that he'll find them a tag team partner.

Back at ringside, LWO heads down to the ring.

Los Lotharios vs. LWO (w/ Zelina Vega)

The four men in the ring

WWE/Fox

All four men begin brawling with one another. Wilde clotheslines Humberto out of the ring, leaving Del Toro and Angel in the ring. The bell sounds and Del Toro delivers a hurricanrana. He follows it up with a dropkick that sends Angel out of the ring, then sends an interfering Angel out to join him. Wilde and Del Toro then go flying over the top to level them, and Del Toro gets Angel back inside the ring. Humberto tags in and Del Toro catches him with an arm drag. Angel tags back in and assists Humberto in sending him crashing to the outside. Humberto sits Del Toro on the ring apron, and Angel delivers a knee to level him.

Back from the break, Humberto tags in and double teams on Del Toro with Angel. Angel tags back in and looks to level Del Toro with a back suplex, but Del Toro escapes and tags in Wilde. Wilde fires off right hands on Angel's head, then lands a DDT and goes for a pin. Humberto breaks the fall before Wilde dumps him out of the ring and looks to fly from the top. Angel trips him and tags out to Humberto. Los Lotharios join Wilde on the ropes and send him crashing into the mat. Humberto looks to follow it up with a moonsault, but Wilde moves out of the way. Humberto then connects with a spinning sit-out powerbomb. Angel tags back in and delivers a kick to Wilde's jaw. He charges at him in the corner, but Wilde escapes and Angel is sent crashing into the ring post shoulder first. Del Toro levels Angel with a corkscrew on the outside.

Carlito's music hits, but he doesn't appear on the ramp. He blindsides Escobar at the announce desk, and the pair brawl into the crowd. Back in the ring, Angel rolls up Wilde as he hangs onto the ropes for the win.

We then head backstage and see Nick Aldis meet with Carmelo Hayes. Hayes looks to ask Aldis about the Royal Rumble, but Grayson Waller and Austin Theory interrupt him before he can. Back at ringside, Bianca Belair makes her way down to the ring.

Back from the break, we see Butch and Tyler Bate meet for a coffee. Bate offers his help to Butch and says he knows Butch is loss, but Butch says them tagging last week against Pretty Deadly was a one time deal. Bate says they can show the world what British Strong Style is all about, then says Butch needs to look inward to remember who he was in Blackpool and ask himself what that name is going to be.

Back at ringside, Damage CTRL follows.

Belair trips her by using her braid, then frees herself from the bottom rope and sends Bayely's face bouncing off the ring apron a couple of times. She uses the ring post as extra leverage to wear down her spine, but Bayley sends Belair crashing into the ring post.

Belair gets Bayley up on her shoulders on the outside, then sends her colliding with the ring post face first. She dumps her back in the ring, then fires off shoulders on her midsection in the corner and whips her into the opposite one. Belair then delivers a vertical suplex and rains down right hands on Bayley in the corner before hitting a backbreaker. Bayley whips Belair into the corner using her braid and charges at her, but Belair sends her crashing into the mat and connects with a springboard moonsault. She delivers a right hand to her jaw, then sets up for the KOD. Bayley whips her into the corner, then ascends to the top and delivers an elbow drop.

Bayley delivers a back elbow to Belair and rolls her up, but the referee catches her feet on the ropes. She sends Belair crashing to the outside and follows her, then rains down right hands and dumps her back in the ring. Belair delivers a spear and follows it up with the KOD for the win.

Winner: Bianca Belair

We then head over to a video from Kevin Owens, who responds to what Logan Paul had to say earlier tonight. Owens says his injured hand won't keep him from being in the Royal Rumble and says they need to talk face-to-face about their upcoming United States Championship match. He invites Paul to be a guest on "The Kevin Owens Show" next week and says he hopes to see him there.

Back from the break, we see Bayley confront the rest of Damage CTRL about why they didn't help her in the match. Dakota Kai explains that they didn't want to get her disqualified, then assures her that her plan to get Damage CTRL all the gold (including winning the 2024 Women's Royal Rumble) is still in place.

Back at ringside, Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits head down.

Kross then reveals that himself, Scarlett, AOP, and Ellering will now be known as The Final Testament.

We then see Pretty Deadly approach Paul Heyman backstage and offer to be Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso's partner in the main event. Heyman then reminds them of The Bloodline's opponent and the fact that they only need one partner and not two, and Pretty Deadly excuses themselves from the conversation.

Back from the break, Lashely and The Profits run into Heyman. Heyman says he's been friends with Lashley for a long time and proposes a partership between him, Sikoa, and Jimmy in the main event match.
