WWE SmackDown Viewership Decreases On 7/19, Demo Also Drops

WWE SmackDown saw a decrease in viewership on July 19.

According to the Pro Wrestling Torch, 2.313 million viewers watched the show on Friday night, drawing a 0.65 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode, when 2.355 million viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.70 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week’s show kicked off with a promo from Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. He was interrupted by A-Town Down Under which helped set up the main event for later in the evening.

LA Knight and Logan Paul for the United States Championship at SummerSlam is official as Knight convinces Paul to sign the contract for their matchup.

The main event of the show saw Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens defeat A-Town Down Under.

After the match, The Bloodline arrived and attacked everyone. They take out Kevin Owens and make Cody Rhodes watch, just like Randy Orton last week and then they take out Rhodes as well.
