This week’s show kicked off with a contract signing for the fatal four-way match for the Universal Championship at the WWE Royal Rumble. Paul Heyman said that Roman Reigns refused to sign the contract. Nick Aldis informed Heyman if Reigns didn’t sign, the match would become a triple threat for the vacated title.
Tyler Bate and the newly rechristened Pete Dunne defeated Pretty Deadly in tag team action. In women’s action, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance defeated Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. A match was set between the champions and The Kabuki Warriors for next week.
LA Knight was also in action against AJ Styles, but the match ended in a no-contest due to interference from Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso.
The main event of the show saw Randy Orton defeat Solo Sikoa. Roman Reigns attacked after the match and eventually signed the contract. Reigns then got RKO’d for his troubles by Orton to close the show.
