Ricochet previously punched his ticket to the finals by scoring the win against JD McDonagh in the semi-finals. His opponent was determined on the May 1 episode of WWE Speed. There, Johnny Gargano won the other semi-final bout against “Big” Bronson Reed.
Ricochet and Johnny Gargano beat Draogn Lee and Angel, respectively, in their first-round matches.
Gargano will be starting a new chapter soon, as he and Tommaso Ciampa were selected by WWE SmackDown in the 2024 WWE Draft. Meanwhile, Ricochet was picked by RAW. Ricochet was on the winning team in the main event of the April 29 episode of WWE RAW. There, he, Andrade, and Jey Uso beat The Judment Day.
