Natalya has earned a shot at the WWE Women’s Speed Championship.
On the January 1 episode of WWE Speed, Natalya defeated Michin in the finals of a number one contender’s tournament. She will challenge Candice LeRae for the WWE Women’s Speed Championship on the January 8 episode of WWE Speed. LeRae is the inaugural champion; she won a tournament for the title.
Natalya then commented on her win in a digital exclusive.
Michin took to Twitter after WWE Speed and commented on facing Natalya for the first time. She noted that Natalya used to give her advice during her days as an extra. Michin wrote that Natalya pushed for her and rooted for her. She stated that Natalya was a legend that she had always wanted to wrestle, so she crossed this goal off her bucket list.
