WWE Speed has been an online (on X/Twitter) tournament that has been airing since April where the first champion Ricochet was crowned in May. Since then Andrade became the second and current champion.
For those who may not be familiar with WWE Speed, it is a weekly video series to stream exclusively on the social media platform where wrestlers would perform in matches with a five-minute time limit.
Now it is the women who will be offered this opportunity. The first tournament to crown the inaugural champion will be on Sept. 4. The Speed Champion is referenced on TV, but the champions have not carried the belt on screen.
