WWE Women’s U.S Title Revealed On 11/8 SmackDown

WWE is coming off of a historic Crown Jewel event, but they’re not done yet. That called for an even bigger SmackDown, and Nick Aldis was there as General Manager to make a big announcement.

Nick Aldis promoted on social media prior to the November 8 SmackDown that he had a big announcement coming. That being said, fans were on the edge of their seats when it came to guessing what Aldis will say.

WWE fans have called for secondary titles for the women’s division for a while now. Just before SmackDown this week, it was reported that the Women’s United States Title is on the way. This generated a lot of buzz, as fans were clued into what Nick Aldis was set to announce, and it was certainly historic.

During the second hour of SmackDown, Nick Aldis was showed in a special video where he praised the women’s division. He said that the women’s division wants to leave a legacy, and he was there to reveal a new symbol of excellence in WWE.

Then he revealed the WWE Women’s United States Championship. He said that it will not be awarded, but it will go to someone who earns the title. Although he did not reveal how the first holder of the new Women’s US Title will be determined, this will certainly shake up the women’s division in WWE.
