Xavier Woods drops a tease.
In recent weeks, WWE has been teasing a potential shift in the New Day. Tensions have been rising between Woods and Kofi Kingston for some time now. The duo unsuccessfully challenged for the World Tag Team Championship on the September 17 episode of WWE RAW, and Woods expressed his frustration after the match, as he said that something had to change.
In a tweet, Xavier Woods wrote that the streets were saying that he “may see some old friends soon.” He also noted, “Just so yall know, I’m not a kid anymore.”
After the New Day’s loss on WWE RAW, Kingston and Woods spoke backstage, and Kingston noted that they needed help from the LWO because they did not have Big E anymore. Big E has been sidelined with a neck injury since March 2022, and his future remains unclear.
