Xavier Woods seems like he is on Team Cody.
Xavier Woods technically broke Roman Reigns’ winning streak when he defeated Reigns via disqualification in November 2021. Woods has yet to receive another shot at the gold, but he seems hopeful that this will change after WrestleMania 40, where Cody Rhodes will challenge for the title.
Speaking on WWE Die Woche, Xavier Woods commented on Roman Reigns, the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
“There’s no way that he gets through WrestleMania with that championship,” Woods said. “If he does, I don’t know. I can’t even say anything, just in case he does. But I fully believe that he will no longer be champion after WrestleMania 40. And then, we might just have a champion who shows up and defends the title a little bit more, and then maybe people will have a shot at winning the Universal Championship.”
Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston have qualified for the Six-Pack Tag Team Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 40. There, they will challenge the Judgment Day for the gold.
