Microsoft is bringing some movie magic to Game Pass subscribers with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which subscribers can play when it releases on Dec. 9.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate -- a CNET Editors' Choice award pick -- offers hundreds of games you can play on your Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One and PC or mobile device for $20 a month. A subscription gets you access to a large library of games, with new titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 added every month, plus other benefits, such as online multiplayer and deals on non-Game Pass titles.

Here are all the games Microsoft is adding to Game Pass in December. You can also check out the games Microsoft added to the service in November, like Stalker 2.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (console)
Available: Dec. 4
The wily bandicoot is back in the driver's seat in this remastered wacky racing game. Take on other racers in different game modes filled with the same characters, upgrades and tracks from the original game, as well as more karts, tracks and arenas from the Crash Nitro Kart game. Get ready for some high-octane fun, filled with explosive crates, Aku Aku masks and more.
Forza Motorsport (Xbox Series X/S)
Available: Dec. 4
Game Pass Standard subscribers can now race over 500 real-world cars across different environments and famous race tracks, like Daytona International Speedway and Laguna Seca Raceway. Dynamic time of day and weather conditions add more challenges to each race and ensure that no two races are the same.
Hauntii (console)
Available: Dec. 4
A few months after Microsoft gave Game Pass Ultimate subscribers access to this game, Game Pass Standard subscribers can now play it, too. You're a brave little ghost who just wants some answers in this stylistic adventure game. Since you're a ghost, you can possess items around your environment to help solve puzzles and get through combat without a scratch.
Humanity (console)
Available: Dec. 4
You're a shiba inu who has to help rebuild humanity. Help guide humans through a series of puzzles by barking and giving them specific commands to avoid obstacles. Once you've helped save humanity, maybe you'll get extra belly rubs and treats.
EA Sports WRC
Available: Dec. 5
Build the rally car of your dreams in this racing simulator. The game lets you race in over 200 competition stages from across 18 different World Rally Championship rallies. Get ready to battle other racers in rain or snow and on dirt and asphalt tracks as you pursue the perfect run.
Overthrown (Game preview)
Available: Dec. 5
Build and manage your kingdom as a monarch with a magical crown in this city-builder game. But be prepared to defend your home at a moment's notice. Farm the land and build structures needed to survive, and protect your citizens from mutants and bandits to keep your people happy.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
Available: Dec. 9
Take control of the world-famous archeologist for the first time in this game. Set in 1937 between the events in Raiders of the Lost Ark and the Last Crusade, sinister forces are scouring the globe for an ancient power connected to the Great Circle. It's up to you to stop them and remind them that any ancient artifacts belong in a museum.
Wildfrost
Available: Dec. 10
An endless winter has blanketed the world, and in order to banish it, you need to build the perfect deck to battle the evil forces across the cold land. You'll rescue and recruit frozen companions and uncover treasure in the frozen tundra. The deck you build is also influenced by the path you take, so choose carefully.
Carrion
Available: Jan. 2
A few years after Microsoft removed this reverse horror game from Game Pass, the company is bringing it back to the service. You're the thing that goes bump in the night in this game as you stalk and consume creatures that imprisoned you before. Spread fear and panic as you evolve and tear down the prison that once held you.
Road 96
Available: Jan. 7
Microsoft is also bringing this road-trip game back to Game Pass after removing it in 2023. In this adventure game, you control teenage hitchhikers fleeing an authoritarian nation. You'll meet new characters along the way and scavenge for supplies, too. Your decisions influence the journey and change the interactions you'll have throughout the story. You could change a nation.
Games coming to Game Pass Core subscribers
Game Pass Core subscribers also get new games soon. This Game Pass plan costs $10 a month and gives subscribers access to a library of more than 40 games. On Dec. 4, Game Pass Core subscribers can play these games, too.

While Microsoft is adding those games to Game Pass, it's set to remove 13 others from the service before the end of the year. So you still have some time to finish your campaign or any side quests before you'll have to buy these games separately.
