Sunday during Barça-Granada, Lamine Yamal scored his fourth professional goal at only 16 years old! At that age, in the same club, Lionel Messi had just started with the Blaugrana reserves…

Lamine Yamal is still only 16 years old. And he will celebrate his 17th birthday next July! Not content with a series of starts and good performances on the right side of the Blaugranas (in the absence of Raphinha), the winger trained at FC Barcelona improved his statistics on Sunday. Granada presented itself at the Olympic Stadium in Montjuic, as part of the 24th day of La Liga.

On a cross from Joao Cancelo, Yamal opened the scoring for Xavi’s team against the Andalusian visitors, to score his second goal in La Liga. He has four goals and three assists in all competitions for his first season among the pros and has also scored two goals with the Spanish selection (yes, yes, in the A national team).

Incomparable with Messi and Ronaldo

A phenomenon of precocity, Lamine Yamal Nasraoui Ebana (his father is Moroccan, his mother Equatoguinean) does better than Lionel Messi, legend of the same Catalan club. At 16 and a half years old, “La Pulga” shone brightly at the FCB training center, but only had two matches with Barça B, with no goals or assists.

As for Cristiano Ronaldo, he was still playing with the Sporting youth teams. This shows the incredible performance achieved by this Lamine Yamal for the reigning Spanish champion.
