FC Barcelona won against Athletic Bilbao (2-1) with goals from Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski.

FC Barcelona continues to rack up points at the start of the season. A week after its victory in Valencia (1-2), the Catalan club won by the same score against Athletic Bilbao (2-1), at Montjuic.

Still without a new signing, since Dani Olmo has not yet qualified, the Blaugranas once again relied on the talent of Lamine Yamal. The Spanish prodigy took advantage of a ball poorly pushed back by the Basque goalkeeper to place a nice strike and open the scoring (24th).

Bilbao had equalized through Oihan Sancet, on a penalty conceded by Pau Cubarsi (42nd). And it was Barça’s other providential man, Robert Lewandowski, who gave his team the victory (75th).

Barça temporarily joins Celta de Vigo at the top of the table, the other team with six points at the start of the season.
