Those things make for some big surprises and you know when you are seeing one of them happen. That is what we saw this week and now we know some more details about the planning that went into it and what was known in advance.

This week on SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton cashed in her Money In The Bank briefcase to become the WWE Women’s Champion, defeating Nia Jax. According to PWInsider.com, Stratton’s cash-in and title win were planned weeks ago and kept secret. The title change was designed to make this week’s show, the first three hour edition, feel special and give it a big moment.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that can make for a special moment, as changing a title does feel like a big deal. WWE understood that and had Stratton win the title, which is what needed to happen for a few weeks now. Stratton has been built up towards the title change and now we get to see where things go from here, which has me interested, as WWE is doing something right.
