They’re old friends. Wrestling is a rather exclusive industry with the people involved not having a ton of time for anything outside of the sport. That can create quite a few issues but it can also result in close bonds being formed. Those can often last after their times in the industry are over, and in this case one was taken to another level a long time after you might have guessed.

Former WCW star Missy Hyatt appeared on the Cafe de Rene podcast revealed that she and Jim Ross dated for “about two years” following the death of Ross’ wife Jan. Hyatt said that this was about two years after Jan’s death, which took place in March 2017. Jim has not commented on Hyatt’s comments. The two worked together in WCW in the late 80s and early 90s.

It’s quite the pair. Check out the two of them at various times:

Opinion: I’m not sure how many people saw this coming but good for the two of them if this made them happy. Neither of them were married at the time and if it was what they both wanted to do then it’s nice to see it work. At the end of the day, it’s more interesting than anything else, as it’s just such a random pairing of people who worked together for quite a long time.
