It can be a huge deal when another one of them comes along, but it can be an even bigger deal when one of them leaves. We are set to see that happen next year and now we know a lot more about what we could expect on the way out.

Last weekend at WWE Money In The Bank, John Cena announced that 2025 would be his last year as an active wrestler, setting him off on a final retirement tour in WWE. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the timing of the start of Cena’s retirement tour is designed to coincide with Monday Night Raw’s move to Netflix in January. The company is said to have a tentative scheduled for Cena including dates and opponents, but nothing is locked in so far.

Opinion: Whether you like him or not, Cena has earned this kind of a sendoff and WWE is giving him what he deserves. He’s one of the biggest names that WWE has ever had and has long since been one of those people who pops up every so often for a special moment. Knowing that those moments are coming to an end is almost hard to fathom, but at least WWE seems to have a plan for what they are doing with one of their biggest stars ever.
