Enjoy him while you can. There are certain wrestlers who have become the biggest names the industry has ever seen and their impact is felt long after their full time careers are over. Those are names who can do quite a few things with just a little bit of effort and any promotion would be smart to do what they can with them. That will be the case next year with WWE and now we know some more about it.

Earlier this year at WWE Money In The Bank, John Cena announced that 2025 would be his final year as a wrestler. Cena said that he would be working several matches throughout the year, including his final appearances at all of WWE’s major events. In a new interview with Collider, Cena revealed that he has given his entire calendar year of 2025 to WWE and is planning on working “around 36 dates” for the company. It is not clear how many matches will be included. Cena also said that his filming commitments to Peacemaker will take up the remainder of 2024.

It’s a big one. Check out some of Cena’s time in WWE:

Opinion: It’s still hard to fathom a WWE, or a wrestling world for that matter, without Cena. While he hasn’t been a full time star in years, he is still one of the biggest names in the industry today and it is a special moment when he pops up. Next year is going to be the last time we see him do quite a few things and that is something fans need to cherish because it won’t last long.

What do you want to see in Cena’s retirement tour? Who should his final opponent be? Let us know in the comments below.
