French international midfielder Youssouf Fofana has eyes for just one destination.
Youssouf Fofana does not want to spend too long at Monaco. He plans to move this summer and his preferred destination is known to all: AC Milan.
The French international has already informed his management that he does not consider another choice for the rest of his career. He has also agreed with the Rossoneri officials on the personal terms of his contract. But the discussions between the two clubs have not made much progress recently.
Fofana in expectation
English clubs West Ham and Manchester United have also made enquiries about the midfielder, but without submitting a concrete offer to ASM. It is therefore quite unlikely that the interested party will land in the Premier League rather than in Serie A.
Fofana, who has 142 games in the French top flight, still has one year left on his contract with Monaco. His management is asking for 30 million euros to release him, but Milan are only prepared to offer 20. Hence the current impasse.
