YouTube star Ben Potter, also known as Comicstorian, tragically passed away at the young age of 40 over the weekend and now, we’ve learned his cause of death. If you don’t know, he had 3 million subscribers on his channel, which covered all things comics. Keep reading to find out more… On Saturday (June 8), he was involved in a single vehicle car accident that took his life. A press release was sent out via the Colorado State Patrol, who shared that the accident happened at 9:19 am local time on I-25 in the Fort Collins area. “The Windsor resident was southbound on I-25 at milepost 267.5 when his silver Toyota 4Runner traveled off the right shoulder of the interstate. He continued to cross over the frontage road paralleling the interstate before rolling his vehicle multiple times,” the press release said (via People). Even though he was wearing his seat belt he “succumbed to injuries from the crash while at the scene.” The press release added that impairment and high speeds do not seem to be a factor, and they are investigating why the crash happened.
