Efron experienced a “minor swimming incident” Friday night while staying at a villa in Ibiza.

Sources told TMZ Monday that the “Baywatch” star allegedly dove too deep into a pool and hit his chest on the bottom, causing him to ingest “a large amount of water into his lungs.”

Once Efron reportedly began displaying “signs of distress” and appeared “momentarily dazed,” he was pulled out of the water by two members of on-site security and rushed to the hospital.

The “Iron Claw” star then added in a message to his supporters, “thanks for the well wishes.”
