Against all expectations, PSG announced this Saturday the contract extension of its young prodigy Warren Zaire-Emery.

Before the evening match against Le Havre, the one which should result in a 12e national consecration, PSG announced with great fanfare the contract extension of its brilliant midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery.

Having just reached the age of majority, the French international has signed a five-year lease with his training club. The suspense regarding his future, even if it was minimal, is now lifted.

Zaire-Emery rewarded for his progress

Details of this engagement have not been disclosed. But, there is no doubt that the young prodigy benefited from an increase in his salary. It was necessary to make an effort to convince him to turn his back on external demands.

Zaire-Emery attracted the interest of a few foreign teams. The management of Manchester City had been keeping an eye on him for some time.

This new lease is totally deserved for WZE. Since the start of the season, he has been one of the best players in the Ile-de-France squad. He played 39 matches, including 32 as a starter. He also scored 3 goals and 9 assists.
