Failing to have succeeded in retaining Kylian Mbappé, Paris Saint-Germain is preparing to extend the contract of its nugget Warren Zaire-Emery.

It’s a page that is turning. After seven seasons spent at Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappé will leave the French capital next summer to most certainly join Real Madrid. The kid from Bondy announced his decision this Tuesday to his president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. It is therefore a new cycle which is about to begin in the City of Lights.

Beyond the next summer recruitment which promises to be spectacular, Parisian decision-makers intend to retain their best elements, starting with its prodigy Warren Zaire-Emery. “One of the first steps in the new era of PSG will be Warren Zaire-Emery’s new contract”announced transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano this Friday.

“The verbal agreement is already 100% concluded”

According to the transalpine journalist, the 17-year-old midfielder, currently under contract until June 2025, will officially return in the days or weeks to come. Everything is already closed. “The verbal agreement is already 100% concluded with the player and his agent Jorge Mendes, it just remains to definitively reread the contract and then it will be signed”, explains Romano. A new contract that he should sign once he turns 18, on March 8.

Launched into the deep end of the professional world last season by Christophe Galtier, Warren Zaire-Emery has completely exploded under the leadership of Luis Enrique, who even made him one of his base men. A meteoric rise which did not escape Didier Deschamps, which allowed him to make his first selection in Blue, last November against Gibraltar.
