The young Parisian prodigy will not sign his contract extension immediately with the capital club.

This Friday, March 8, Warren Zaire-Emery will celebrate his 18th birthday. On Tuesday, journalist Fabrizio Romano affirmed that the talented midfielder’s contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain should coincide with this date, which is synonymous with coming of age for the Montreuil native.

According to RMC Sport, it should take place a little later. For the moment, there would not yet be a total agreement between the different parties. The extension is not in doubt, just delayed a little in time. Number 33 of the Rouge et Bleu will benefit from a significant salary increase. He signed his first professional contract, for a period of three years, in July 2022. This lease earned him 250,000 euros gross per year.

A pure Parisian Titi

” Extension ? I don’t worry about it too much. I’m going to celebrate my 18th birthday and that’s it, I’m going to stay focused on the pitch and give the best to PSG.”Warren Zaire-Emery confided to RMC Sport on Tuesday evening, after the victory against Real Sociedad and PSG’s qualification for the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

“I’m a kid from Île-de-France, born in Montreuil, I’ve always loved PSG. After leaving Aubervilliers, I always played for this club”had also declared “WZE” in the columns of Parisian Start of the week. This season, Luis Enrique has used it 28 times in all competitions.
