Zambia Captain Names Oshoala In Ideal 5-A-Side Team

Zambia captain Barbara Banda has included Asisat Oshoala in her dream 5-a-side team, reports Completesports.com.

Banda, who will be leading the Copper Queens at the 2024 Olympic Games revealed her Ideal team in an interview with FIFA.com.

“Wow, that’s so difficult! (She thinks for a while) I would start with Marta. Then I’ll go with [Nigeria’s Asisat] Oshoala. With me, that’s three.

“Honestly, I love playing with Rafa [Rafaelle] from Brazil. I know Marta can play in midfield, so I would put Rafa at the back, then Marta in midfield, me up front, also Oshoala and… [Sophia] Smith. That’s it!.

The Copper Queens will be making their second Olympics appearance in Paris.

The 23-year-old made history in Zambia’s maiden appearance at the Games in Tokyo– she then became the first player to score hat-tricks in back-to-back Olympic matches.
