Zazie Beetz To Star In Muschiettis’ Nocturna First Film ‘They Will Kill You’ For Skydance

EXCLUSIVE: We can tell you first that Joker and Deadpool 2 actress Zazie Beetz has signed on to headline They Will Kill You, the first feature from Nocturna, the horror label formed earlier this year by Skydance and Andy & Barbara Muschietti. 

They Will Kill You is written by Kirill Sokolov and Alex Litvak, with Sokolov attached to direct.

Sokolov is known for his dark sense of humor, and this movie follows a woman who answers a help wanted ad to be a housekeeper in a mysterious high-rise in New York City. However, she doesn’t realize she is entering a community that has seen a number of disappearances over the years.  

They Will Kill You will be produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Andy and Barbara Muschietti, and Dan Kagan. It will also be produced by Nocturna Co-Heads of Film, Russell Ackerman and John Schoenfelder. 

Launched in 2024 by Skydance and the Muschiettis, Nocturna produces high-quality, horror features for global audiences in both theatrical and streaming.

Andy and Barbara Muschiettis are currently working on the extension of Stephen King’s It franchise which they brought to the screen in a two-part $1.17 billion box office two-part bonanza, the HBO Max prequel series Welcome to Derry. The Muschiettis have a first look deal with Warner Bros and it was announced last summer that Andy would direct Batman: Brave and the Bold
