Zelina Vega is one of the most hardworking and underrated WWE superstars on the WWE roster today. However, luck has not been on Zelina’s side for quite a while and now, she has again missed out on a huge opportunity.

General Manager of RAW, Adam Pearce in video released by WWE on Instagram revealed that Vega has suffered an undisclosed injury and would be unable to compete in her upcoming Queen of the Ring first-round match against Shayna Baszler.

With Vega out of the action, Pearce also announced that RAW superstar Maxxine Dupri would take her place in the tournament. This adds another WWE superstar on the injury list amidst the King and Queen of the Ring approaching its final destination.

As the tournament progressed since last week, firstly, it was Drew McIntyre who was pulled out due to his ongoing elbow injury. Following that, Asuka found herself replaced in the tournament by her Damage CTRL cohort, Dakota Kai due to injury in her scheduled match against Lyra Valkyria.

Switching sides to SmackDown, The Almighty Bobby Lashley was next to be taken out from the men’s side and replaced by Angelo Dawkins against his scheduled opponent, Tama Tonga. With Zelina Vega joining the injured list, things are becoming unpredicted on the road to King and Queen of the Ring PLE, set to culminate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in less than three weeks.
