French legend Zinedine Zidane gave his prediction for the evening clash between Bayern and Real.

In the semi-final first leg of the Champions League, Bayern welcomes Real Madrid this Tuesday evening at the Allianz Arena. A prestigious meeting that a certain Zinedine Zidane will follow with great attention.

For the former leader of the Blues, it is a duel between his former club and potentially his next one. After three years of inactivity, the Bavarian giant is currently flirting with him in order to make him the successor to Thomas Tuchel.

Zidane behind Real

Given the stakes and also the news, ZZ could have respected a right of reserve or remained neutral when he was questioned about this part. Oddly enough, that wasn’t the case. Still having a merengue heart, he leaned in favor of the Madrilenians.

“It’s not going to be easy. It has the status of a great European classic. But at the same time, Madrid is Madrid…”confided the 1998 Ballon d’Or in an interview for The Athetic.
