The name of French legend, Zinedine Zidane, is once again starting to circulate within one of the biggest European institutions.

Zinédine Zidane will perhaps soon return to service. According to rumors coming from across the Channel, Manchester United could hire the French football icon as coach. An interest that is far from new.

Jean-Claude Blanc, general director of sports at Ineos, spoke to Zinedine Zidane recently. The flow is good between the two men and there would be a real chance that the 98 world champion would say yes to the Red Devils. Blanc previously worked at Paris Saint-Germain and has extensive experience in football.

Blanc and Zidane spoke

According to The Independent, United’s minority owners INEOS greatly admire Zidane. They believe that he would have the personality and charisma necessary to occupy the position of coach, instead of Erik Ten Hag.

Zidane doesn’t speak English as fluently as he does French and Spanish. But this does not seem to be an obstacle to his nomination. Far from it.
