Zinedine Zidane has been offered an investment in a French club facing serious financial problems.
Without a club since leaving Real Madrid at the end of the 2020-2021 season, Zinedine Zidane has still not found the bench. However, there is no shortage of offers or desire. The French football legend would have liked to take over the French team, but Didier Deschamps’ contract was ultimately extended until 2026.
While waiting to find the right shoe for him, “Zizou” continues to make people talk despite his discretion. Recently, it was Walid Acherchour who suggested to the world champion 9 to financially support his former club in decline, the Girondins de Bordeaux.
“Can’t a guy like Zidane put some money into Bordeaux?”
“A guy like Zidane can’t put a little money in Bordeaux? These types of guys can do it. If I’m Zizou, I’ll go there, I’ll put a little biscuit in”the consultant said on RMC. It remains to be seen what the main person concerned thinks about it.
As a reminder, Bordeaux will play this season at amateur level, in National 2 (4e division), after its administrative demotion 1 by the DNCG – financial policeman of French football. The club with seven French championship titles was placed in receivership by the commercial court, avoiding, for the moment, compulsory liquidation.
