Zlatan Ibrahimovic reunites with UFC icon Khabib Nurmagomedov at AC Milan clash

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Khabib Nurmagomedov were spotted together at the San Siro for AC Milan's latest Serie A clash.

Ibrahimovic, who made 163 appearances for the club, announced his retirement from football in June following an illustrious career.

He won two Serie A titles with Milan and has remained at the club in a non-playing role as a senior advisor to the board.

As a result, he still attends matches both home and away, with Sunday night's win against Roma no exception.

Ibrahimovic took to the pitch side at the San Siro and was snapped with one of the greatest MMA fighters of all-time.

The Swede was seen standing next to Khabib, who held a stunning 29-0 record and was the longest-serving lightweight champion in UFC history.

It's not the first time that the Russian has been spotted at a football match, with the 35-year-old clearly a big fan of the sport.

Khabib and Ibrahimovic were snapped together at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, with Paul Pogba and Novak Djokovic also joining them.

The former met Ian Rush a few weeks later at Liverpool's 0-0 draw against Chelsea and travelled to Arsenal a day later, bumping into Piers Morgan and Gabriel Jesus.

He was treated to more of the best talent European football has to offer as Milan claimed an important 3-1 win against Roma.

Yacine Adli put Stefano Pioli's side in front after 11 minutes with a fine low strike, the first goal he has scored for the club.

Milan's lead was doubled early on in the second-half by Olivier Giroud before a Leandro Paredes penalty got Roma back in the game.

Their efforts were undone with six minutes left on the clock though as Theo Hernandez scored an fantastic goal after an excellent move.

The win sees Milan remain third in Serie A and sit nine points behind leaders and rivals Inter Milan, but they are firmly in the top and on course for Champions League football next season.

Meanwhile, Roma are ninth in the table amid a disappointing campaign.
