Zoya Akhtar hints at possible collaboration with Salman Khan, recalls growing up in actor’s Galaxy apartments home

Screenwriter duo Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar have had an illustrious career in Bollywood. They have been the man behind some iconic films of 90s. Recently, the trailer of their docuseries Angry Young Men was dropped and it documented some important events of their life. In a recent interview, Zoya Akhtar, Javed Akhtar’s daughter opens up about her bond with Salman Khan and hints at possible collaboration with him.

Zoya, who is known for directing films like Luck By Chance, Dil Dhadakne Do, Gully Boy & Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was asked about the possibility of working with Salman Khan. To this, she expressed, “It would be amazing! He is a megastar who has got a crazy persona and a huge fanbase. I have to obviously find a subject that works for him and his fans and me. The minute we find a subject, it would be delicious, it would be a lot of fun.”

Zoya also recalled meeting Salman Khan to discuss the docu-series at his Galaxy apartment with actor filmmaker brother Farhan Akhtar. “It was fun, we were in his lawn and had some tea, all his nephews were around. It was a nice feeling to be back at Galaxy, because we grew up there and played in that garden. So, it was lovely to be there. We all chatted about everything under the sun. He was super open to it. She adds, “He is older than us, so he had seen more of their glory days together than we had. He remembers much more.”
