The 2024 Oscar nominations are here and there are a number of shocking snubs and big surprises! Christopher Nolan's “Oppenheimer” led the pack with 13 nominations, followed by “Poor Things” with 11, and “Killers of the Flower Moon” with 10. “Barbie” landed eight nods, but some of the biggest snubs came to the film's leading ladies. Margot Robbie didn't make the cut for Best Actress and Greta Gerwig failed to get into the Best Director category. Netflix also felt the heat when Charles Melton was majorly snubbed for his role in “May December" and the film was also shut out of Best Picture, only being nominated for Original Screenplay. The 2024 Oscars will be hosted by Kimmel and air in a new earlier time slot (7 p.m.) on March 10 on ABC.
