4 Former Kwara United coach Samson Unuanel says the Super Eagles’ loss to Rwanda in a 2025 Africa Cup qualifier doesn’t have any negative impact on the team.
Recall that Nigeria lost 2-1 to Rwanda, their first defeat in the qualifying campaign.
Reacting after the game, Unuanel told Completesports.com that the match was inconsequential and didn’t have any effect on the table.

“Yes the Super Eagles lost to Rwanda today but I don’t think we should any meaning to it considering the fact that they have already qualified for AFCON.
“I know many Nigerians expected the team to finish the campaign unbeaten but sometimes you win some and you lose some as well.
“It doesn’t take anything away from the fact that we have a team capable of challenging for next year’s AFCON in Morocco.”
