Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold will have to decide his future before the end of 2024.

The Reds academy product has emerged as one of the world’s best right-backs in recent seasons, but his future is still uncertain. The England international is in the final year of his contract at Anfield, and the club are prepared to offer him an extension if they are convinced by the long-term project on Merseyside.

According to the Daily Mail, Real Madrid have already contacted his representatives to express their interest in the 25-year-old.

Trent Alexander-Arnold highly coveted

However, as well as the Spanish capital, FC Barcelona have also expressed interest, with Alexander-Arnold likely to enter negotiations for a free transfer to a non-English club in early 2025.

The Whites are able to offer the best financial deal of the three, with Liverpool’s advantage being that Alexander-Arnold wants to dedicate his career to his hometown club.
