Pep Guardiola’s Skyblues won the Community Shield at the expense of Manchester United (1-1, 7-6 on penalties).

Pep Guardiola’s men were shaken when Alejandro Garnacho opened the scoring (82nd) but Bernardo Silva replied (89th).
In the penalty shootout, after two misses from Bernardo Silva and Jadon Sancho, it was finally Jonny Evans who made one miss too many.
