A PSG player was affected by a serious health problem during the month of December.

Landed this summer at Paris Saint-Germain (in the form of a loan with option to purchase) from Benfica Lisbon, Gonçalo Ramos is currently struggling to find a place in the Parisian eleven. Little used by his coach Luis Enrique, the Portuguese striker was nevertheless released from a burden on November 22 when the capital club decided to exercise the purchase option included in his contract upon his arrival and estimated at 65 million euros.

It must be said that the acclimatization of the Lusitanian international was somewhat disrupted due to illness. On the sidelines of Dortmund-PSG in the Champions League, on December 13, Luis Enrique indicated that his 22-year-old striker “suffered from the flu” to justify his last minute package. But in reality, it wasn’t just a flu…

Ramos lost 6 kilos

According to newspaper information Record collected from the player’s entourage, the latter suffered from a serious virus during the month of December. Hospitalized during the end-of-year holidays, Gonçalo Ramos lost no less than six kilos. Enough to explain the low playing time of the former Lisbon player in recent weeks, again according to the Portuguese media.
