Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor starrer Nadaaniyan recently released on OTT and the duo are receiving immense praise for their act. The film also features an ensemble cast including Dia Mirza, Suniel Shetty, Jugal Hansraj and Mahima Chaudhry. Apart from them, the film also features Jawan fame Aaliyah Qureishi who essays the role of Khushi Kapoor’s BFF. In a recent interview, Aaliyah has heaped praise on Ibrahim and Khushi and lauded their discipline and dedication.
Aaliyah Qureishi praises Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor
In an interview with Livemint, Aaliyah talks about Ibrahim being a fun person. She says, “He is warm, fun and extroverted. Ibrahim is very welcoming towards everyone on sets. We would often hang out in the van between the takes or after the shoot. He is the life of the party. This is not his first film; There’s another film but Nadaaniyan came out first. It was great to know him.”
Talking about Loveyapa actress, she quipped, “Khushi Kapoor is very disciplined. Everyone would be hanging out at the end of a long day at the shoot but Khushi would be asleep in the bed by 10 pm or 11 pm to prepare for the next day of shoot. She would be the first person to arrive on set. She is the most hard-working, dedicated, and always on top of her game. It’s actually her third role but she is really treating it like her first. Khushi is always on time and never misses her workout.”
She concluded by saying, “Khushi and Ibrahim show up with a blank slate at work. It never felt like there was a weird aura.”
Nadaaniyan Review
For those unversed, Nadaaniyan released on Netflix on 7th march. Bollywood Bubble rated 3.5/5 to the movie. A part of the review read, “Overall, Nadaaniyan is a charming romance drama that gains from its new lead duo, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor, along with a captivating plot and stunning screenplay. Despite taking a well-traveled route, it is nevertheless worth watching because of the performances and emotional depth.”
On the work front, Ibrahim is also a part of Sarzameen which is expected to hit the theatres this year. The movie also stars Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
