This summer, AC Milan set two priorities for its summer transfer window: a striker to replace Olivier Giroud, and a number 6 capable of maintaining the balance of the team. For this, the Rossoneri have checked the name of Youssouf Fofana. The AS Monaco midfielder has already indicated that he wants a change of scenery this summer, and a departure for Milan is not impossible.

According to information from the Sports Gazettethe Italian club intends to offer 25 million euros to secure the services of the French international (20 caps), currently at the Euro with the French team. The transalpine media adds that this offer could convince the Monegasque leaders to release him from his contract, running until 2025 with the club of the Principality. Fofana would be up for a three-year contract with options, but an agreement would not be reached until after the Euro.
