Adam Copeland wants to celebrate AEW.

The April 3 episode of AEW Dynamite opened with a heartfelt promo from TNT Champion Adam Copeland. During the segment, Copeland pointed to some “negative BS” that was shared this week, seemingly taking a shot at CM Punk’s interview with Ariel Helwani. In response, Copeland shared why he believes AEW is good for the industry.

“There’s been a lot of negative BS that has been spewed this week, there has,” Copeland said. “Screw that. I wanna talk about the positives. If you’re a fan of pro wrestling, it is a great time to be a fan of pro wrestling. There is a whole lot of positives right now.”

Copeland shared that he grew up watching WWF, NWA, Stampede, and more because he loves professional wrestling. He reminded fans that he had wrestling torn away from him for nine years. Now that he’s closer to the end than the beginning, he wanted to come to AEW and wrestle the best in the world such as Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega, and others.

“The Rated-R Superstar” said he’s not knocking anywhere else, but right now is the most fun he’s had in his 32-year career. Because of that, he wants to celebrate AEW.

Copeland added, “I celebrate AEW. I celebrate the men who started AEW. That means The Bucks, that means Kenny, that means Cody, and that means Tony Khan. That should be celebrated. Those guys are all fans of this, just like me, just like all of you… AEW makes pro wrestling better. AEW makes pro wrestling more fun. And AEW is where the best wrestle.”
