AEW Collision Viewership Increases On 1/18, Demo Also Rises

AEW Collision saw an increase in viewership on January 18 for the Maximum Carnage special.

According to Wrestlenomics, 342,000 viewers watched the show on cable television on Saturday night, and the show drew a 0.10 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode when 337,000 viewers tuned in. The demo is also up from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.09 rating in the same demographic.

Collision ranked #2 in the 18 to 49 demographic on cable on Saturday. The show was up against the Duke vs. Boston College basketball game, UFC 311 prelims, and the NFL Divisional Playoff game between the Detroit Lions and the Washington Commanders.

Collision also aired on Max, but viewership for Saturday’s show on MAX is unknown at this time.

What happened on AEW Collision this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Hangman Page defeating Christopher Daniels in a Texas Death Match.

The Acclaimed officially split during a promo in the ring between Anthony Bowens, Billy Gunn, and Max Caster when Bowens sided with Gunn over Caster.

Elsewhere on the show, Kazuchika Okada defeated Tomohiro Ishii to retain the AEW Continental Championship.

The main event of the show saw Powerhouse Hobbs, Rated FTR, and The Outrunners defeating The Learning Tree and the Death Riders in a 12-man tag match.
