WWE might be gearing up to bring back EVOLVE, but nothing is set in stone just yet. The company has already reached out to independent wrestlers about their availability for a potential taping, though the initial date was postponed, leaving its status unclear.
According to PWInsider, there are currently no internal schedules listing anything specific for EVOLVE, but the brand would likely serve as a platform for WWE’s NIL (Next In Line) talent—a program designed to transition collegiate athletes into professional wrestling.
If the revival moves forward, Gabe Sapolsky is expected to handle the creative direction, given his current role overseeing WWE’s NIL program. While there has been ongoing discussion, nothing has been officially locked in, and no timeline has been confirmed for EVOLVE’s potential return.
Some believe WWE could make a move before WrestleMania, but for now, it remains speculation.
WWE reviving EVOLVE could bring a fresh spark to its developmental system, but for now, it’s all just talk. With independent wrestlers being contacted and Gabe Sapolsky rumored to be leading the charge, the pieces are there—but until WWE makes it official, it’s just another idea waiting to happen.
