Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has recently sold his apartment in Borivali East, Mumbai, for Rs 4.35 crore. The property, located in Oberoi Realty’s Sky City, is part of a ready-to-move-in residential project that offers 3BHK, 3BHK+Studio, and Duplex apartments.
Akshay Kumar Sells Borivali Apartment For Rs 4.35 Cr
According to the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) website, the sale was registered in March 2025, with a stamp duty payment of Rs 26.1 lakh. Documents reviewed by Square Yards show that Kumar originally purchased the apartment in November 2017 for Rs 2.37 crore. The apartment boasts a carpet area of 1,073 sq ft (99.71 sq m) and includes two parking spaces.
Earlier this year, in January 2025, Akshay Kumar sold another unit in the same building for Rs 4.25 crore, which he had also bought in 2017. According to Square Yards Data Intelligence, Oberoi Sky City has seen robust market activity, with 208 sale registrations totalling Rs 818 crore between March 2024 and February 2025. The average resale price for properties in the project currently stands at Rs 44,577 per sq ft. Additionally, it has been reported that Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan acquired multiple properties in Oberoi Sky City in May 2024, as per IGR property registration records.

The actor was last seen in Veer Pahariya’s Sky Force. His next projects included Welcome To The Jungle which is currently under production. Akshay Kumar is making his Telugu cinema debut with this film, which is based on the true story of Kannappa, an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva. Hera Pheri 4, Bhooth Bangla, Jolly LLB 3, Housefull 5, Kesari-Chapter 2 and Bhagam Bhag are announced and under production currently.
