AJ Lee has responded to various attempts to get her back in the wrestling ring.

The former WWE Divas Champion retired back in 2015, following matches at WrestleMania 31 and the following Raw. She has not been seen in WWE since, despite calls for a comeback following CM Punk’s return to the company.

This includes calls from WWE wrestlers who want to face AJ Lee for the first time. This all started on Twitter, where one fan asked AJ Lee how she seemingly defies aging, comparing a photo from a decade ago with a recent one. AJ responded, citing “therapy, self-love, avoiding toxic energy, and sunscreen” as the secrets to her youthful look.

thank you, im definitely embracing my well earned wrinkles and gray hair cuz aging is a privilege, but therapy, self-love, avoiding toxic energy, and sunscreen will make that skin glow too, boo

AJ Lee Responded To Peer Pressure From Bayley, Liv Morgan & Cora Jade

Three WWE Superstars saw AJ Lee’s Tweets and jumped at the chance to use it to get her back in the ring for the first time in nearly a decade.

Bayley, fresh off her defeat to Nia Jax at Bad Blood, slyly told her that “wrestling rings are good for wrinkles”, cheekily trying to goad her back to wrestling.

“I heard wrestling rings are really good for wrinkles..”

I heard wrestling rings are really good for wrinkles..

Both Cora Jade and Liv Morgan concurred with Bayley. They replied “Yeah same” and “Me too”, respectively. AJ Lee is clearly a favorite in the locker room, and these women would love to face her in a comeback match.

The former Divas Champion responded to these shameless attempts to peer-pressure her back into wrestling. She called the women “goddesses”, saying she adored them and their peer-pressure.

@YaOnlyLivvOnce i adore you goddesses and your peer pressure”

It was as non-committal of an answer as she could have made. However, it wasn’t a no, which gives fans hopes of an AJ Lee return to the WWE one day.
