Benjamin Glaze, who was a contestant on American Idol back in 2018, has been arrested on child porn charges. The former Idol contestant went viral for being kissed by Katy Perry during his audition for the singing competition series. He was 19 at the time and revealed he had never been kissed, so Katy called him over to her and had him give her a kiss on the cheek. She then proceeded to give him a kiss on the lips. “I know a lot of guys would be like, ‘Heck yeah!’ But for me, I was raised in a conservative family and I was uncomfortable immediately,” he later said. Benjamin is now 26 and the Tulsa Police Department arrested him for allegedly possessing child sex abuse material following a months-long investigation. Keep reading to find out more… “As part of the investigations, the Spider Unit obtained a search warrant for Glaze’s residence. During the search, a smartphone was recovered that was found to contain over 700 images and videos of child sexual abuse material,” the police department said in a statement. The department added, “This is an arrest and not a conviction.”
