Nicolas Anelka and Booba have several common points. The two men, respectively aged 46 and 48, have not notably been critical of the media. The former footballer and the rapper are preceded by a sulphurous reputation, each in their respective fields.

Both from the Paris region, one of the Yvelines, the other of the Hauts-de-Seine, they started their career almost at the same period. Indeed, Nicolas Anelka played his first professional match on February 7, 1996, under the colors of Paris Saint-Germain. The same year, Booba released the classic song “The crime pays” with his group Lunatic, on the compilation “Hostile Hip-Hop”.

Anelka and Booba, a connection established by Christanval

Anelka had to wait a few years before knowing the pair that Booba formed with his acolyte of the time, rapper Ali. “I discovered Lunatic in 2000. It was one of my teammates from the French Hopes team, Philippe Christanval, who made me known. I immediately hung on the texts, on Booba's voice. I liked his attitude too “he confided during an interview given to Inrocks During 2010.

Former central defender, Philippe Christanval was promised to a huge career. Transferred from AS Monaco to Barça in 2001, this tricolor international (six selections) then experienced a good number of injuries forcing him to hang up the crampons prematurely.
