On the occasion of the International Day for the elimination of racial discrimination, on March 21, the Liga is preparing to launch the fourth edition of its “vs racism” campaign, announced Marca. To mark this initiative, the first and second division players will wear a special jersey designed by the artist Suso33 and will pose with a sign against racism before the matches. Awareness messages will also be displayed on the giant stadium screens, as well as on the brassards of the captains. A hymn broadcast before the meetings can also be heard.

In addition to these actions, a special balloon designed by Puma, inspired by Suso33 works, will be used next weekend in the first and second Liga matches, but also in the female first division. An initiative that does not seem to be meaningless in Spain, where several racist scandals have taken place in recent months.
