The English club Arsenal is preparing to overtake PSG on one of its transfer window objectives.

Joshua Zirkzee, the brilliant member of Bologna, could be the subject of a surprise transfer to the Premier League.

The talented striker has seen his popularity skyrocket in recent months. He particularly caught the eye of the leaders of PSG. But, according to the Telegraph, the former Bayern Munich player could join Arsenal this winter or during the next off-season.

A complicated file for PSG

Bologna reportedly set their price at 55 million euros. A significant amount, even for a prestigious team in the English championship. The Italian club is also hopeful of being able to keep its nugget for a long period.

Bologna sporting director Marco Di Vaio recently told La Gazzetta dello Sport: “How many phone calls have we received? None. And anyway, we won’t answer!

Then asked about the qualities of the young Dutchman, the former international azzurro replied: “Joshua is a nine and a half, yes, but he doesn’t look like anyone else. He’s a unique player. The release clause? It is only valid for Bayern (Munich). For other clubs, the price is open… but our best players will not move in January. »
