Arsenal have reportedly named their asking price for Oleksandr Zinchenko.

The Ukraine international is one of the most versatile defenders in the modern game. Capable of playing at left-back, left wing-back and in central midfield, Zinchenko, 27, is a useful player for any club looking to bolster their squad depth.

Which is why, according to a recent report from Fichajes, Arsenal’s number 35 is already attracting interest from clubs at home and abroad.

Oleksandr Zinchenko could leave Arsenal if Gunners’ price is matched

Emerging as a summer option for Newcastle United and Bayern Munich, Arsenal are believed to be demanding £39 million for the 27-year-old full-back.

With two years left on his contract, the summer will undoubtedly be an important one for the Ukrainian. Mikel Arteta has already used two other players in Zinchenko’s position this season; Takehiro Tomyasu and Jakub Kiwor.

And with Newcastle desperate for a top-quality left-back and Bayern preparing for life without Alphonso Davies, Zinchenko could be offered the chance to play a more important role elsewhere.

However, whether one of those clubs decides to back their interest up with a formal bid remains to be seen.

Since signing for the Gunners from Manchester City in 2022, Zinchenko, who also has 60 international caps to his name, has scored two goals and registered four assists in 67 games in all competitions.
